NOTES *We mostly use green certified cleaning products from Ecolab. However, there are occasions when harsh/regular chemicals are needed if surfaces need extra attention. If you are allergic or prefer only green cleaners, please let us know immediately so we can add it to your file accordingly. Please let us know which chemical or brands you are allergic to, such as Bleach, Ajax, oven cleaner, degreasers, etc. This will help to ensure we provide the best service possible.
Damages: If any damages occur during the cleaning, you must report it in writing to report@brightandtidy.net within 24 hours. Damages reported late (48 hours after completion of service) will not be considered for repair or compensation. After the initial contact from you, we will respond to find a solution. If we do not hear from you promptly within 72 hours, we will assume that you do not want to resolve the issue. After initial contact, you have a maximum of 72 hours to respond and let us know your decision in writing to report@brightandtidy.net.
Pets: Although we love pets, we kindly ask that on the day of your cleaning service all pets be secured, confined, or removed from the premises prior to the cleaning. It is important to ensure pets are secured before the team arrives, as pets may try to run out when the crew is entering or leaving the premises. More importantly, they could easily be trapped in a closet or room without proper food and liquids for a prolonged period of time. We hope you understand that this policy is to ensure the health and safety of your pets.
Payment: Payment is due upon completion of the service. We accept cash, checks, Visa, Mastercard, and Discover credit cards over the phone or PayPal (online). Payments not received by the due date will be charged a $25 late fee per day overdue. In the event payment is not received 5 business days after the due date, the account will be turned over to our collection agency.
Cancellation: Cancellations without 48 hours advance notice during regular business hours, will result in a $50 “late cancellation” charge.
Specifications: Please refer to www.brightandtidy.net and read our Services List to ensure you understand exactly which areas will be cleaned in your home. If it isn’t listed, you must discuss “special requests” with the phone estimator before service commences, as there may be a price adjustment. Please note that we have a two-hour arrival time window.
Quote – Prices are based on your accurate assessment of the condition of your home. If we find the condition is not consistent with your description, we will call you and ask for a time adjustment and price increase. If we cannot reach you, and you have not pre-approved additional time, we will only stay the amount of time you paid for and the quality will be compromised.
Condition – If there is a lot of activity going on in your home, we will do our best to work around it, but too many interruptions in our routine may prevent us from completing the job in the amount of time estimated. More time may be available for purchase, or we may need to adjust what tasks we can accomplish or forgo due to the lack of time. Maids have permission to take photos to show proof of conditions.
Access – Our time starts when we arrive at your apartment. If we have to wait more than 45 minutes for someone to unlock the door, there will be less time available to clean the house.
Unfair Competition – Clients may not solicit our employees to work for them directly in any capacity whatsoever and must agree to pay a $2,500 “finder’s fee” if you hire an employee away from Bright & Tidy LLC.
Collections – Payment in full is due at the time of service. NSF checks, non-payment, or declined credit cards may result in additional fees associated with collection. Your credit card number is retained in a secured, password-protected scheduling program and will be charged should your account become delinquent for non-disputed services.
Our 100% Guarantee to You – When you use our services, if you are not absolutely 100% satisfied with our work, we will return and re-clean at no additional cost. Just call/Text our office or email us within 24 hours for a re-clean of the unsatisfactory areas. Because of the subjective nature of cleaning, refunds are not available unless a manager comes out to inspect any unsatisfactory work after the re-clean has taken place.
